Shooting Military Building

I urge everyone to direct your prayers, or whatever thoughts your worldview admits, toward the victims, their families, and everyone involved in this tragedy.

Recent experience shows us that nearly every first report on these sorts of things is wrong!

And nobody remotely close to being an “authority” has even begun to speculate on who the shooter(S) were and why they did it.

A little confusing possible scenario of who the shooter is.

D.C. Active shooter(s) at Navy Yard

The number of victims killed and wounded continues to change.

13 people were shot dead at a Navy Yard in Washington DC today. The gunman is now confirmed dead and has been identified as 34-year-old civilian contractor Aaron Alexis.

Authorities feared that two other shooters may be at large but both of these suspects have now been cleared.

Initial reports of two or even three shooters were subsequently dismissed, with NBC reporting that there is “no hard evidence” of more than one shooter. A subsequent report states that, “The prospect of a 2nd or 3rd shooter is fading but they want to make certain…that the scene is clear.”

The Washington Post reports that there were, “as many as three shooters.”

The incident has “no known connection to terrorism,” according to the Department of Homeland Security. One of the gunmen was described as having a dark complexion, approx 5’10″ to 6 feet, 170 pounds and wearing black shirt & hat. He was carrying an AR-15 assault rifle.

Earlier reports stated that one of the gunmen was injured and had been identified.

The shooting began at 8:20am EST, according to the U.S. Navy’s official Twitter account.

Some nearby schools are still on lock-down and parents have been told they cannot collect their children.

Navy Yard Shooting Another Gun Free Zone Failure

It is worth noting that Washington Naval Yard, like the rest of DC, is a gun free zone (victim disarmament zone), meaning only criminals like the shooters involved in this incident are able to carry arms. Workers in the building were told to “shelter in place.”

FOX NEWS now Confirming Shooter

“Identified one of the gunman who attacked the Washington Navy Yard on Monday morning as Aaron Alexis, 34, of Ft. Worth, Texas. Alexis was killed at the scene, but police have asked for Washington D.C. residents to remain on the lookout for two additional suspects.”

NBC’s Pete Williams Identifies Navy Yard Gunman As Aaron Alexis, 34, of Ft. Worth, TX. Alexis was killed at the scene, but police have asked for Washington D.C. residents to remain on the lookout for two additional suspects.

Alexis entered the building with a shotgun but was later seen by eyewitnesses carrying an AR-15 assault rifle, which he may have stolen from a police officer who he shot in the legs.

Williams noted that reports indicate Aaron infiltrated the highly secure facility by using the identification of a current employee of the facility (on administrative leave) who has not yet been identified.
“What his motive was is a long way from determined.”

The alleged shooter who is now dead,” according to NBC News, which adds that the, “FBI believes he used ID of a former Navy Yard worker.” The ID belonged to “a man” on administrative leave. He said he doesn’t know the shooter.

Hmmm. That’s not very convincing.

Starr began by stressing that initial reports are worthy of skepticism, but the notion that multiple gunmen participated in this attacks is troubling.

“I think we have to really face the notion of the real bottom line here,” she asserted. “If this pans out, if this proves to be true there were a total of three gunmen, the U.S. military is facing a considerable problem beyond this terrible initial tragedy.”

D.C. False flag active shooter(s) prompts lock-down.

Steve Watson at Infowars noted that a study by guns rights advocate John Lott found with only one exception, “every public shooting since at least 1950 in the U.S. in which more than three people were killed has taken place where citizens are not allowed to carry guns.”
